And we are off...

The adventure has begun in earnest. As of 9pm, we have just left the lovely state of Minnes*ta. A few minor hiccups, but we are well on our way - whether that is a good or a bad thing has yet to be determined. The details thus far.

THE RIG:
A 35' beauty with 3 slide outs, bunk beds, two bathrooms, and many of the amenities of a house, in the space of a dorm room.

THE DRIVER: JM Oakes. Our fearless leader who has been behind the wheel since we picked this sucker up at noon today.

THE DRIVE: Traffic. Yeah, that. Leaving on a Friday at 4:45pm was perhaps not the best idea. But alas, here we are. Waylaid by traffic, our initial plan to hit up Z*mbie Burger in De.s M.oines was a non starter. We settled for s_bway and some sketchy chinese buffet that appeared to possibly be frequented by the stars of Duck Dyn@sty.

THE KIDS: So far so good. Not huge fans of sitting for hours, but they are troopers and only complain every 5-7 minutes.

THE INTENDED END RESULT: A night at a fancy KOA in middle america.

Oh, and I lost my keys. Whoops. Happy I will not need them for another two weeks.
